Given to the Out-Going President as a token of the membership’s appreciation of the dedication to, leadership of the work accomplished during the President’s term in office.
AIRPORT OF THE YEAR 3 Years
(See additional criteria form.)
Given to a Public-Use Airport located in the state of Oklahoma. The airport should show outstanding efforts in such categories as serving the public, maintaining their facilities, etc. (See Criteria for Airport Sheet)
AIRPORT MANAGER OF THE YEAR 2 Years Given to the Airport Manager of a Public-Use Airport located in the state of Oklahoma. Though it is often given in association with the Airport of the Year Award since a successful airport is usually dependent on its manager for a significant amount of its support and success, there have been occasions when a manager has shown exemplary activity.
APPRECIATION AWARD NONE

Activity for OAOA
Presented to any member of OAOA who shows outstanding dedication, contributions, and/or service to OAOA.
CORPORATE CHAMP 2 years Given to any Corporation in recognition of their sustained contributions to OAOA and to Oklahoma’s Airports through continued Corporate Support and Sponsorship.
PIONEER Long Term Given in honor of long-term dedication and significant contributions made to OAOA.
HERITAGE None Presented to individual(s) who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in the field of aviation. Accomplishments could be anything from equipment design, safety, exploration, development, research or etc.
PRESIDENT’S AWARDS None The President may present this award to one or more whom he/she deems deserving of extra recognition for outstanding service to OAOA—over and above what might be expected.
AIRVANGELIST None Recognizes someone who tirelessly promotes and advocates for the aerospace industry in the State of Oklahoma in honor of OAC’s long-time director Vic Bird.
