Vic Bird, Director, Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission, gave a presentation at the January 20 OAOA Quarterly meeting in which he described the financial support that OAC has given to the Oklahoma Airport System and how future funds might be in jeopardy.  Director Bird further pointed out that the State Airport System received little in State and Federal funds before OAC separated from ODOT in 2002.

OAOA was there! ... at the Cox Center in Oklahoma City when the Oklahoma Municipal League held its Conference September 23 - 25.  Having an exhibit there allowed for OAOA members to meet new city officials and airport managers from around the state and to explain the benefits of OAOA membership.

Most had no idea that the dues are as low as they are and that those dues include, among other things, the following:

       1.    OAOA Annual Conference
Registration included for at least one representative (number depends on classification)
              Education and Training
Networking with other Airport Management Professionals
Meals at conferenceEducation and Training
