         TERRY S. LEARD
             1930 - 2015

Terry S. Leard, founding member and
long-time supporter of Oklahoma Airport
Operators Association, passed away on
September 26, 2015 at age 85.

Terry was devoted to OAOA and quite
instramental in encouraging both airports
and corporate sponsors to become members
in OAOA.

After graduating from Oklahoma A&M
College (OSU) in 1953 as an Industrial
Engineer, he also served in the US Air
Force and the Oklahoma Air National
Guard.

Later Terry joined Hudgins, Thompson
& Ball where he became Vice President
and Director of the Aviation Services Division
and President of HTB International.  While he
was with HTB, he served as Project Director
of many airport projects, including the Will
Rogers World Airport Terminal Building, several
FAA Aeronautical Center buildings, and projects
in Puerto Rico and Lisbon, Portugal.

After starting Leard & Associates, he and his
team focused on numerous airport projects
throughout the state. He later went on to work
with his friend Jim Cobb at Cobb Engineering.

Besides being a founding member of OAOA, he was
also a founding director and officer of Oklahoma
City Junior Achievement and Oklahoma City Beautiful.

We send our sincere condolences to Terry's family and
to all of his many friends and co-workers.   He will be
greatly missed.
